REN21 Renewables 2013 Global Status Report

Emergent Energy was recently contracted by REN21, a global multi-stakeholder network with a Paris-based Secretariat hosted by UNEP and GIZ, to project manage the REN21 Renewables 2013 Global Status Report (GSR). This report is considered to be the leading international publication on the global renewable energy market.First released in 2005, the GSR has become a truly collaborative effort of over 500 authors, contributors and reviewers. It is the most frequently referenced report on renewable energy market, industry and policy trends. It tracks the growth of electricity, heat, and fuel production capacities from renewable energy sources, including solar PV, wind, solar hot water/heating, biofuels, hydropower, and geothermal.The 2013 edition will be released in mid-June, while past versions can be downloaded for free from the REN21 Web site, at www.ren21.net.
