In January this year, Jobs.co.za launched a 'Fresh Start' beta-campaign, which offered a fresh, new clutter-free search interface allowing users to easily search through the job content and apply for relevant positions immediately upon entering the Web site.

Jobs.co.za closely monitored the behaviour of its users during the campaign period to better understand what the users were looking for and how they prefer to navigate within the job portal.
Together with user groups and search behaviour studies, these trends were tracked and then benchmarked against other modern social Web sites such as Twitter and LinkedIn, as well as Jobs.co.za's international and local counterparts, in order to better understand the expectations of the online jobseeker.
Gillian Meier, CEO of Jobs.co.za, comments: “With the ongoing rapid evolution of the Web, search engines and user interfaces are constantly being improved to provide faster and easier access to information across the Web; and Jobs.co.za's new interface has been designed with exactly this critical objective in mind. Today's online user seeks instant gratification and faster and more relevant results. It is our intention to ensure that our users achieve exactly that from our Web site when looking for a job, and we believe that, with this slicker interface, we will be able to achieve this objective and serve our users better.”
Jobs.co.za has always been committed to being a jobseeker-centric portal, and by launching the new look and feel, Jobs.co.za will be taking the message of 'start fresh here' to a new level – offering its users not only a fresh start to their online job hunting experience, but also by enabling them to get a fresh new start in their careers; not only through Jobs.co.za's job search functionality, but also through the library of useful career development articles and services that the portal offers to its job-seeking community.
In addition to the online job portal, Jobs.co.za provides recruitment management solutions to recruitment agencies, corporations, publishers, niche job boards and professional institutions.
The Recruitment Management system integrates seamlessly with the Jobs.co.za advertising portal as well as several partner sites, niche portals, search engines and social networks, providing job advertising exposure to an extended passive audience while the Jobs.co.za central database gives instant access to companies wanting to tap into the active jobseeker market.
The unique filtering and screening tools provide a centralised application management process, thereby reducing time to hire.
