Gillian Meier resigns as CEO of Jobs.co.za

Gillian Meier has resigned as CEO of Jobs.co.za today, after having been appointed by the board in 2008 to re-launch the South African job portal into the market as an alternative recruitment solution to the recruitment agency and corporate market.Meier has been in the online recruitment industry since 2000, and was the founder of a digital marketing training and consulting business in 2007. Having had several years experience in the online recruitment space, the board approached Meier to provide insights into re-inventing the portal within the marketplace and to help re-establish a strong presence for the brand.Meier has been serving on the board as CEO since 2008, and has, in this time, established a strong position for Jobs.co.za with the South African recruitment market. Meier steps down as CEO this month to pursue her other business interests.
