[Johannesburg, 4 May 2011]

Registration for Multisource's TechNiche 2011 Conference and open day to be held on Thursday, 12 May at The Forum, in Bryanston, Johannesburg, has been extended due to popular demand.

TechNiche 2011 offers keynote and track sessions that include presentations from industry leaders such as Samsung, Azotel, STM, Icom, Proxim, and Trango. Delegates from across Africa will be descending on The Forum in Bryanston for the fourth annual TechNiche event.

The open day line-up for this year includes four plenary sessions; three masterclass tracks that provide delegates with the widest possible selection of content; four exhibition networking opportunities; and an onsite networking session at the close of the conference.

The conference programme will cover major business-focused topics in the telecommunications landscape in Africa, such as the availability of new technologies for improved communication. The programme will further explore how these factors may change the business strategies, operations and logistics of current telecommunication operators.

XConnect Global CEO, Eli Katz; Samsung Telecommunications Business Development Director Brian Burns; and John Seaman, Sales Director at Trango in the United States, are among a number of high profile local and international speakers that will feature at Multisource's TechNiche 2011.

Attendance at TechNiche is free, but registration is required to cater for numbers due to popular demand. Interested parties should contact Rochelle Jordaan via e-mail on Rochelle@multisource.co.za, or visit http://www.multisource.co.za for more details and an online registration. Attendance is on a first-come first-served basis. Multisource is proud to have iWeek as TechNiche's official media partner.
