Quirk has been awarded seven accolades at the 7th Annual International Davey Awards - the largest and most prestigious awards to acknowledge the 'Davids' of creativity.
Quirk is the only African digital agency to be recognised for its contribution to continuously produce creative excellence, snatching up three Gold and four Silver Davey Awards.
Quirk's Group Chief Creative Officer, Clint Bryce, says winning seven Davey Awards validates the Quirk Group's recent strategic positioning, 'Driven by Creativity. Disciplined by Results'.
He says the group has been relentless in its pursuit to attract and shape the best creative minds in the business, and in doing so, has heralded 'ideas as currency'.
Bryce believes that “great work is about fresh ideas and exceptional execution, not the biggest budgets. Our creativity involves three important pillars: the Idea, the Aesthetics and the Technology.
“Winning these awards will provide confidence in our ability to deliver a great idea, then craft and implement it to the stage of realised value for our clients and their customers.”
Gold and Silver awards are awarded based on a standard of excellence, and entries are judged to evaluate distinction in creative work produced.

The Davey Awards prove that the international community believes Africa has the skills to compete on an international level.
Quirk Agency's Chief Executive Officer, Justin Spratt, strongly believes that his agency's work is of a global standard and has become increasingly 'globally relevant'.
“The result is that large international brands that are expanding into Africa can have comfort that full service agencies such as Quirk can be custodians of their brands without risk,” explains Spratt.
“We are now working towards developing trust with these international brands so that we can add to the brand development on a global basis, too. As part of the Brics community, Africa will demand this of savvy brands.”
The Daveys are sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts – an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a 'Who's Who' of acclaimed media, advertising and marketing firms.
