MTN introduces MTN Prestige Plus

In a move aimed at addressing the needs of its contract subscribers, MTN is introducing MTN "Prestige Plus", an exclusive new contract package that has been designed for customers looking for more value in a holistic mobile proposition, built around their needs. The new MTN package gives customers more value by bundling more anytime minutes, SMSes and more data value for a single monthly subscription fee.

The MTN Prestige Plus package also comes with the following tailored lifestyle benefits: airport lounge access for use during local and international travel; priority MTN call centre support; and Smartphone Plus, a convenient phone repair service to keep customers connected while their faulty handsets are repaired.

"We wanted to create an innovative new package to suit the needs of those customers that are looking for more than what we offer in our existing MTN AnyTime price plan range. Gouldie says MTN Prestige Plus differentiates MTN by paying attention to customers' needs and ensuring that users get more value, such as access to exclusive airport lounges, and hassle-free service and convenience for smartphones repairs.

The MTN Prestige Plus price plan will be available through exclusive deals with the most sought-after smartphones, such as the Samsung S4 and the newly launched Apple iPhone 5S and 5C.

The Prestige Plus plan will consist of:

MTN Prestige Plus customers will also have access to MTN's world-class LTE network.

"We have observed that most customers purchase LTE-enabled devices but have not changed their SIM cards; we would like to encourage them to visit an MTN store to swap their current SIM cards to an LTE SIM to get the fastest speeds available," concludes Gouldie.

The monthly subscription on these packages is dependent on the handset packaged with the deal. MTN Prestige Plus is also available on a "bring your own device" deal. Existing MTN customers can also migrate to this new, exciting package.
