MTN wins Ask Afrika Icon Brand survey
MTN has earned another feather in its cap after being named as the Icon Brand and a winner of the Ask Afrika Internet Service Providers Category in the 2016/2017 Icon Brands Survey.
MTN scooped this prestigious award in 2015, and this marks the second consecutive year MTN is being conferred this accolade.
An Icon Brand is a brand that unites South Africans, used and loved by South Africans across age, income, race and language groups. These brands define a common experience, and South Africans affirm their belief by using them daily and seek them when they are travelling outside of the country.
Larry Annetts, Chief Consumer Officer for MTN SA, says the award reaffirms the work the MTN team is doing to win the hearts and minds of consumers through developing and introducing attractive propositions that resonate with its customers.
"These awards are testimony to all the hard work that has gone into building this brand, which has become synonymous with the ideals and vision that we all seek for this beautiful country. These awards embolden us to raise the bar even higher and provide our valued customers with the service that they have come to expect from us."
