MTN SA rewards customers with 1GB of data for downloading new MTNApp
MTN SA customers who download the new MTNApp from either Google Play store or Apple App Store will get 1GB free data, valid for 24 hours.
The new app offers ease of use and navigation, and allows customers to effectively manage their accounts, monitor their data usage and recharge quickly and easily. It also unlocks exclusive deals for customers that are not yet available anywhere else.
"We have considered the feedback received from our customers and designed an all-new MTN app, which has an improved user interface and provides an enhanced user experience. This is just one of the ways that we are transforming customer experience with an aim to enriching their lives at every touchpoint," says Jacqui O'Sullivan, Executive: Corporate Affairs at MTN SA.
The new app is lighter on data and only requires 10MB and 30MB of data to download on Android and iOS devices, respectively.
"There are a number of features planned to go live on the app over the next few months, including a zero-rating of the MTNApp, meaning customers will be able to use the app even if they don't have a positive data-balance. So, we'd like to encourage customers to download MTNApp to benefit from it," concludes O'Sullivan.
* The 1GB data reward promotion ends on 30 January 2020. * MTNApp replaces MyMTNApp. Customers are encouraged to uninstall the old MyMTNApp and install the new MTNApp.
