MTN strengthens smartphone range with new BlackBerry models
With the introduction of the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 and BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9105 smartphones, MTN South Africa is continuing to offer its customers cost-effective and innovative solutions that give them unlimited access to the Internet from only R2 per day.
"As a whole, MTN is committed to offer its customers solutions that cater for their diverse needs across voice and data categories. As such, these two latest introductions to our smartphone stable will ensure that our customers get the best from both worlds," says Serame Taukobong, chief marketing officer at MTN South Africa.
With the BlackBerry devices offering users the ability to receive unlimited e-mails and Web browsing at a fixed monthly cost, MTN customers can use the devices safe in the knowledge that they will not get any surprises on their cellphone bills at the end of the month.
"Both smartphones are ideal for people on the move who rely on their social networks to keep in touch while providing all the benefits of a fast 3G connection. The BlackBerry Curve provides a great introduction to this, and is an ideal phone if you are new to the smartphone market, while the BlackBerry Pearl provides the ideal launch pad into the BlackBerry platform," continues Taukobong.
The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 smartphone is available in graphite grey on the MTN AnyTime 100 package for R219 per month (over 24 months), which includes 25 SMSes per month, R100 of airtime, and unlimited e-mail and Internet browsing.
