The MTN SA Foundation, in partnership with the Department of Social Development, have joined forces to hand over three multimedia centres that will cater to the needs of the learners living with disabilities in Vhembe district, Limpopo.

Tshilidzini Special School caters for learners with visual, hearing and physical impairments, and the three state-of-the-art multimedia centres will enhance the quality of teaching and enrich the learner experience.

Tshilidzini Special School will also receive free data each month for the next two years.

Says Kusile Mtunzi-Hairwadzi, General Manager for MTN SA Foundation: "We are humbled to be given the opportunity to enrich the learning experience of these learners through the usage of technology and connectivity. What we have achieved here today gives expression to our conviction to democratise the Internet and ensure that connectivity is easily accessible to everyone. We hope that the equipment we are handing over will go a long way towards stimulating the thirst for knowledge and education."
