Today, MTN SA is proud to announce that it has received the prestigious Global Telecoms Business (GTB) award for wireless network infrastructure innovation.

The award was presented at a ceremony in London, on 4 June 2013, for the successful implementation of cVidya's MoneyMap Revenue Assurance solution, which has yielded a substantial return on investment since it was deployed in 2010. cVidya is a leading provider of revenue analytics solutions for communications and digital service providers.

Says Quintus de Beer, Head of Revenue Assurance at MTN SA: "cVidya's advanced solution has enabled us to move beyond reactive revenue assurance to take a proactive risk management approach that has improved billing accuracy and our customers' experience, while boosting revenue and EBITDA."

Having seen a significant improvement in business and operational efficiency, MTN SA is expanding cVidya's coverage to additional revenue intelligence analytics domains such as risk management and new lines of business.

"We are delighted to receive this award, which recognises a major step forward in the management of a complex and fast-changing aspect of our business," says De Beer.

The GTB awards are for projects, not products, designed to acknowledge excellence in collaboration between operators and vendors.
