MTN launches its lowest guaranteed Prepaid call rate at 90c

On Sunday (23 February 2014), MTN South Africa introduced a R30 MTN Pay as you Go bundle that will see its prepaid customers experience guaranteed and reduced rates of 90c, 95c and 99c per minute for making On-net (MTN to MTN), Off-net (MTN to other networks) or All-net calls (MTN to all networks) respectively. To enjoy these new rates, customers simply need to load an MTN Pay as you Go bundle of their choice, for just R30.

"Customers want simple and flexible offers to cater for their needs. Through this promotion, MTN is providing its prepaid customers with significantly reduced call rates to meet their needs for value for money, as well as rewarding them for their loyalty," says Brian Gouldie, Chief Marketing Officer at MTN South Africa.

This promotional offer will be available to all MTN Prepaid customers on MTN Zone per second, MTN Call Per Second, MTN Muziq as well as the new MTN Pay Per Second price plan (previously known as One4All).The MTN Pay as you Go bundles will only be valid for up to three days and any unused minutes will expire at midnight on the third day.

To activate the new MTN Pay as you Go bundles, and enjoy the lowest call rates on MTN, a prepaid customer can dial *141*2# and select an On-net (90 cents per minute), Off-net (99c pm), or All-net bundle (95c pm).
