ContinuitySA is hosting a five-day business continuity management (BCM) training course, which decision-makers and BCM practitioners can use to implement resilience strategies designed to protect organisations from the impacts of any type of operational disruption.

“Building and maintaining resilient business operations has become a strategic imperative for companies and the executives responsible for risk, governance and sustainability,” says Millington Gumbo, general manager, advisory services, ContinuitySA.

“This course will help those executives gain insight into best practices for incident anticipation, response and management using cutting-edge learning toolkits and practical exercises based on ContinuitySA's flagship Complete Continuity Training Solutions,” he said.

The course will run from 23 to 27 January 2012, from 8am to 5pm, at the Complete Continuity Training Academy, in Kent Avenue, Randburg.

Participants will each receive a free iPad2 preloaded with the course content, registration with the Business Continuity Institute (Affiliate status), a physical tour of a world-class recovery site, a Complete Continuity Training Certificate, and indispensable BCM knowledge and skills.

The cost is R16 999.
