MiX Telematics receives distribution rights for TankSafe devices in Africa

TISS, the world's leading truck security and safety specialist, today announced that MiX Telematics, a leading global provider of fleet and mobile asset management solutions, has been appointed as a distributor of its market-leading TankSafe range of fuel security and safety devices, in Africa.

The TankSafe devices manufactured by TISS and distributed by MiX Telematics include an award-winning 'Impregnable' device that completely prevents 'skimming' of fuel, third party fuel theft, overfilling and diesel spills. The TankSafe range also includes the 'standard' anti-siphon device, which is proven to offer 75% better protection than the nearest competing 'basic' anti-siphon device. The TankSafe 'Impregnable' device is a unique, patented design offering proven savings; some fleet customers have reported 40% savings on their total fuel cost. Return on investment after fitting the TankSafe 'Impregnable' is achieved in a matter of weeks.
