Today, Matrix - a brand of MiX Telematics - launched the revision of its ever popular Matrix Smartphone App, with enhanced administrative control, ensuring an intuitive experience - with a complete redesign of the main menu for enhanced feature functionalities.

Through the new, interactive re-design of the app, Matrix customers are able to customise the favourites bar by selecting the top four menu items most relevant to them. Customers are also able to customise notifications and alerts that they would like to receive.
In addition, the app allows customers to alternate between multiple vehicles within the same platform, select the designated driver and update the odometer reading for each vehicle.
"Today the integration of technology between family and friends is a critical component. Parents want to know where their kids are and families want to manage and ensure the safety of their loved ones - making sure that this integration is possible, is at the centre of what we do," continues Fraser.
The app provides Matrix customers the ability to request their latest insurance certificate, or account statement via the app.
"Convenience in an on-the-go culture is critical and one that we take seriously when looking to create value for our clients. The new admin functionality, paired with the upgrades on the main menu, form an important component to such value and we are glad that we are able to help improve lifestyle efficiencies," says Fraser.
The app also allows for a tutorial walkthrough which automatically begins when a user logs in for the first time. The skippable tutorial is also available for replay through the main menu.
