MTN rewards customers in frugal times
When a new year begins, cutting costs becomes a major priority for most people. This is why MTN has decided to reward customers who recharge their MTN cellphone lines with a chance to win instant airtime daily, and R100 000 cash weekly.
January is a hard time for most people. Many demands are placed on the pocket; finances are not in a great shape, but MTN is giving customers a reason to still spend money on MTN airtime. The Yello Surprises Campaign, which runs until 31 March 2012, will reward every 500th customer who recharges with double their recharge value.
“This gives our customers every reason to stay on the Ayoba network, which is truly sensitive to its customers' needs,” says MTN South Africa's Chief Marketing Officer, Serame Taukobong. “We understand that even in frugal times, communication is an absolute basic necessity. So why not give loyal customers an incentive for recharging?”
Customers also stand the chance to win a weekly prize of R100 000 cash when they recharge. “MTN is committed to adding value to its services by giving customers the kind of prizes that will speak to their needs. MTN rewards customer loyalty,” says Taukobong.
At a time of the year when customers are indeed looking for ways to save money and recover from their holiday spending, the Ayoba network is once again showing that it is the smart choice for the parsimonious customer.
