MTN first in offering lowest per second call rates all day, now that's Ayoba!
MTN SA cuts its call rate on the MTN One Rate PayAsYouGo price plan, which means that MTN customers can now make calls all day across all networks for less than 3c. This new price reduction makes this the lowest per second call rate during peak times in South Africa.
Paying less for your calls is now a reality with the new MTN One Rate PayAsYouGo price plan. With a significant reduction in call rates, MTN customers can now benefit from savings of up to 40% on calls made throughout the day.
With this latest innovation from MTN, customers now pay less than 3c per second on all calls made during the day, irrespective of the network, which equates to a 40% saving that customers can now put directly back into their pockets.
What's more, consumers can now also benefit from a significantly reduced SMS rate of only 50c per SMS to any number, at any time. MTN is also including free services such full voicemail with notifications, one free SMS every day, and seven free Callbacks daily.
“Customers are often led to believe that paying for a full minute when you have talked only for a few seconds is a good deal but now we are changing all of that. With the new MTN One Rate price plan customers are charged per second, so if you speak for 20 seconds, you only pay for 20 seconds,” says Donovan Smith, General Manager of Consumer Marketing at MTN SA.
The cost structure is simple - one second is less than 3c and a single SMS is 50c, while an MMS will cost you 90c that's it and it applies all day. No frills, no fuss, no hidden costs, MTN charges you only for what you use and not a second more.
“This is yet another example of how MTN offers innovative products and services which ensure savings for our customers. MTN is the value for money network,” adds Smith.
