Despite much apprehension about whether the North-West University's solar car team would compete in this year's Sasol Solar Challenge, they have managed to do just that! This comes after the car was upended by a sudden gust of wind during the time trial rankings on Thursday, causing significant damage to it.
Students and staff worked for more than 40 hours straight to get the car ready for today's start. In spite of the backlog, the team are doing great thus far!
