Johannesburg, Sep 28, 2016

The third day of the gruelling Sasol Solar Challenge presented a huge obstacle: crosswinds of up to 60km per hour. Keep in mind that the North-West University's solar car weighs less than 200kg.

The team still managed to cover 345.9km for the day, which brings them to a total distance of 1 518.3km.

They will reach Graaff-Reinet by the end of the day.
