1. We are registered

Rosebank College is an educational brand of The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE). The IIE is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a private higher education institution under the Higher Education Act, 1997 (reg. no. 2007/HE07/002) and is a leading registered provider of private higher education in South Africa. The IIE is also internationally accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC). The IIE offers world class standards, which ensures students can be confident about the value of their qualifications. The IIE operates across 20 sites offering more than 90 registered and accredited higher education qualifications.

South Africa has only one quality assurance, accreditation and registration system that applies equally to all higher education institutions - private and public - so being sure about registration and accreditation is important, as it helps you make wise decisions about this very important investment of your time and money.

2. We are affordable

Studying has never been easier at Rosebank College. Study from as little as R1 500 per month, depending on the IIE course of your choice. Our affordable payment terms help you achieve your study goals in record time.

3. We empower our graduates

We recognise the challenges experienced by new graduates when looking for first-time employment and initiated the Graduate Empowerment Programme (GEP) in 2012 to give The IIE Rosebank College graduates a fighting chance in the competitive world of job searching. The GEP aims to equip IIE graduates with the skills that employers are looking for when hiring graduates. That's not all, CV and cover letter training is also offered to help you draft a winning resume.

4. A variety of IIE qualifications to choose from are offered

At the IIE's Rosebank College, there are several qualifications to choose from. Choose from a higher certificate, diploma or degree. Pursue a qualification within the commerce, ICT, humanities or social sciences faculty.

5. Study full time, part time or through distance learning

We understand that students need flexibility. That is why we are willing to meet you where you are. We offer various modes of study to make sure that studying is possible for you.

6. Study at our connected or face-to-face campuses

Are you tech-savvy and prefer to engage with your learning content online? If yes, then you may be best suited to study at one of our connected campuses. This is a technology-powered learning environment, which allows our lecturers and students the opportunity to share, gather and create knowledge resources and networks for the benefit of our students through the use of technology.

Or do you prefer a more traditional style of learning? If you prefer our face-to face campus, you will attend on-campus classes on a regular basis, most likely daily and have your lectures at specific times and days. Which campus you choose is up to you.

7. Easy access to our campuses

Rosebank College currently has seven campuses in South Africa. Choose to study at our Bloemfontein, Braamfontein, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Polokwane, Pretoria CBD or Pretoria Sunnyside campus. All our campuses are situated in the heart of the city and offer easy access to public transport routes.

8. Work integrated learning

All Rosebank students have to complete the Work Integrated Learning Module. This is an opportunity for students to gain experience in their chosen career by completing an internship or project that contributes to your qualification.

9. Vibrant student life

In addition to quality academics, Rosebank College introduces its students to a more social side, with our Student Council organising a range of cultural, sport and social activities to participate in as part of our rich campus life, where students are able to engage as a diverse Rosebank College community.

Rosebank College believes in giving back to the communities where our institutions are located. Students can get involved in a variety of community projects, such as being part of the clean-up campaign. By joining the Eco Forum, you will help keep the community around your college clean. Or become a volunteer who assists non-profit organisations with events, fundraising or other community service projects. There are always so many activities to choose from.

10. We care

Not only do we care about providing you with great quality education, we care about your overall well-being. Rosebank College often invites experts and people who can motivate and inspire you to be the best version of yourself. Events such as the Women360 seminar and Men of the 21st Century are all initiatives aimed at helping you become the best version of you.
