Next up we get to know our Braamfontein campus principal Frikkie Cronje. The Braamfontein Campus, also known as The Mega Campus currently boasts the brands largest student cohort, with the capacity to accommodate up to 10 000 students. In our interview we learn about the man holding it all together.

Tell us a little about yourself?

I'm 51. My background is finance and business. I grew up in a small town in Mpumalanga called Bethal.

I studied at RAU (now UJ). I'm married and have two daughters, one of my daughters is already married and the other is getting married in September. My family is very important to me.

What would most people be surprised to learn about you?

I am actually an introvert by nature.

What do you love most about your job?

Making a difference in somebody's life.

What motto do you live by?

With a positive attitude, anything is achievable.

What do you do in your spare time?

Read and play golf.

How long have you been principal?

Six and a half years.

What are you looking forward to the most in 2018?

Changing things for the better. The Mega Campus concept is two years old and now we need to improve all the services and processes.
