Calling all unemployed entrepreneurs

The VUT/Sasol Entrepreneurship Programme is in search of its sixth cohort amongst the youth who have an interest and drive for entrepreneurship. If you have the passion to develop your own business, this could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

VUT Southern Gauteng Science and Technology Park's Public Relations and Marketing Department has paid visits to a few youth and community centres around the Vaal to look for talent. Among them were ASEDI Youth Centre in Bophelong, SHADI Community Centre in Sharpeville and Ntabankulu Community Centre in Sebokeng Zone 11.

Interviews will be done on air for the next two weeks on local radio stations which are yet to be confirmed. This six-month programme is fully sponsored and only candidates without tertiary qualifications will be considered - how often do you hear that being advertised? Candidates must, however, have done their matric and be between the ages of 18 and 30 years.

If you know of any interested individuals, advise them that they can collect application forms at VUT Southern Gauteng Science and Technology Park in Sebokeng. Or contact Ms Manani Hlongwane on (016) 930 5025 or [email protected] or Ms Matshepo Rathebe on (016) 930 5038 or [email protected] for more information
