VUT to host international tissue regeneration conference

The International Conference on Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (ICTERM) 2017 will be co-hosted by Vaal University of Technology, Tshwane University of Technology and Rice University (Texas, USA) in Vanderbijlpark from 26 to 30 July 2017.

ICTERM 2017 aims to bring together distinguished clinicians and scientists from around the world who work in the following areas: stem cell tissue engineering, cartilage and bone tissue engineering and biomaterials tissue engineering. This will enhance the interaction between young, aspiring scientists and students from academia and national laboratories.

The five-day conference will cover basic studies through translational efforts and clinical trials and will address novel topics. A well-known list of experts in the field is expected to speak throughout the programme.
