The Executive Mayor of Nelson Mandela Bay, Councillor Athol Trollip, kindly invites you to the official unveiling of the city's programme: "MOLO Festival of Triathlon" ahead of the upcoming Ironman 70.3 World Championship from 1-2 September 2018.

As a proud host city of this global showpiece, we invite you to come and witness the unveiling of our plans that will engage every sector of the community to make sure this welcome boost to the city is felt by all citizens of the Bay and visitors alike.

The 2018 Ironman 70.3 World Championship, in Nelson Mandela Bay, is expected to bring over 4 000 international athletes, with an estimated R300 million in direct spend over a two-week period. Through various initiatives such as City Ambassadors programme, the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality has created many economic opportunities for local citizens and small businesses.
